ملخص: This paper focuses on communication systems in which only the existence of line of sight is required for an acceptable quality of service. A reliable method is presented for minimizing the risks involved in the preliminary study of future deployments by avoiding the use of an analytical description of the environment in which the system is supposed to operate. The results show that statistically generated environments can successfully evaluate the feasibility of future communication systems at regions where no terrain or clutter information is available.
