ملخص: This study deals with the problem of rehabilitation in Algeria with special reference to an old quarter of Setif: Bel-Air. It poses the hypothesis that the policy of wholesale wholesale demolition and replacement by high rise buildings, etc...... is an oversimplification which wasted apportunity and produces many social and other problems.
