ملخص: The following work is an attempt to deal with the difficulties of writing in english that third year classes literary stream pupils are facing when writing. They are facing linguistic, psycho-pedagogical and psychological problems. This research suggests remedies and solutions to overcome these difficulties, therefore to make teaching / learning the writing skill at hand. The work is divided into two parts; part A : review of literature, and part B : field work. We started by viewing the definition of the writing skill and why writing is important and started by viewing the definition of the writing skill and why writing is important and difficult at the same time. The different approaches to writing, putting emphasis on the paragraph writing rational, this works discusses linguistic, psycho-pedagogical and psychological difficulties encountered by learners while writing. In the field work part, the answers to questionnaires administered to teachers and students are commented on and analyzed. ending with some recommendations and a general conclusion.
